About Us
Serving others is serving God.
Who We Are
Shree Balaji Charitable Trust is a non-profit organization started with one simple belief: serving others is serving God. What began as the personal social work of Rajni Bhatt and Satish Bhatt slowly grew into a full-fledged trust, built on years of helping people quietly, without expecting anything in return.
Today, we work in three areas close to our heart: health, education, and religious and cultural seva, all guided by the timeless values of Hindu dharma.
Our Story
For years, Rajni Bhatt and Satish Bhatt were already doing social work in their own way, helping a sick neighbor reach a hospital, supporting a child's school fees, and organizing small religious gatherings for the community. It was not planned as an organization. It was simply who they were.
Over time, as more people came to them for help, and as their circle of well-wishers grew, they realized this seva needed a proper structure: a trust that could reach more people, more honestly, and more consistently.
Our Mission
To serve the poor, the sick, and the underprivileged with dignity, providing support in healthcare and education, while preserving and promoting Hindu religious and cultural values in society.
Our Vision
A society where no one is denied healthcare because they are poor, no child is denied education because of their family's condition, and our cultural and spiritual roots remain strong for generations to come.
Our Values
- Seva (Service) - We serve without expecting anything back.
- Integrity - Every donation is used honestly and carefully.
- Compassion - We treat every person with respect and warmth.
- Dharma - Our work stays rooted in our cultural and spiritual values.
What Makes Us Different
We are not a large, corporate-style organization. We are a trust built on personal relationships, real care, and the simple belief that helping one person at a time creates real change. When you give to us, you are giving directly to a family, a patient, or a student who needs you.
The Story of Rajni & Satish Bhatt
Long before Shree Balaji Charitable Trust had a name, a registration, or an office, it had two people: Rajni and Satish Bhatt, a husband and wife who simply could not turn away when they saw someone in need.
For years, theirs was a quiet kind of service. There was no big announcement, no large donor list, just a couple who would help a sick relative or neighbor get to a hospital, quietly pay a child's school fee, or organize a small bhandara or satsang to keep their community connected to its faith.
As the years went on, word spread. More people began coming to them for help, and what started as personal kindness slowly became something bigger than the two of them. That is when they decided it was time to give their seva a proper home.
Today, the trust continues in that same spirit, not as a big institution chasing numbers, but as an extension of two people's simple promise: to help wherever help is needed.
